Privacy Policy

Euro Litre (eurolitre.eu) is a fuel price information website. It is operated by EURO LITRE, Europe-based. This page explains what data the site handles and why. If anything here is unclear, write to us at info@eurolitre.eu.

The short version

There are no accounts on Euro Litre, nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy. We do not sell personal data, we do not build visitor profiles, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Data the site receives when you visit

Like every website, our hosting server records basic technical information in its logs when a page is requested: the page address, the time, your IP address and the browser type. These logs exist so the site can be operated securely and faults can be found. They are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period and are not used to identify or follow individual visitors.

Location, only if you use Near me

The Near me pages can show stations close to you. If you tap the location button, your browser asks your permission first. Your position is used only to find and sort the stations shown to you. It is not stored, not linked to your identity and not shared with anyone.

Emails you send us

If you write to info@eurolitre.eu, we keep your message and your email address so we can answer you and, where a price or station detail is reported, check it against the official source. Correspondence is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Cookies

Euro Litre does not set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. The site works the same with cookies blocked. WordPress sets cookies only for signed-in administrators, which does not affect ordinary visitors.

Where the prices come from

All fuel prices on this site come from official open data sources, listed on our Sources page. Price data describes petrol stations, not people, and contains no personal data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. In practice the only personal data we are likely to hold is an email you sent us. Write to info@eurolitre.eu and we will act on your request. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date below.
